Who we are
The Restore Recovery app is operated by RecvTrak Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales. This policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Restore Recovery mobile app and the recovtrak.com website.
What information the app handles
The Restore Recovery app handles the following types of information, all stored locally on your device:
- Recovery information you enter — such as daily goals you tick off, recovery milestones, physiotherapy sessions completed, medication doses, and fluid intake.
- App settings — such as your surgery date, surgery type, and reminder preferences, used to tailor guidance to your recovery stage.
- Notifications — if you enable medication reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These never leave your phone.
The app has no user accounts and no analytics, and it does not transmit your health information anywhere. Your data stays on your device unless you actively choose to share it (for example, using the app's "share with family" feature, which uses your phone's standard share sheet).
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data — ever.
- We do not use your health information for advertising.
- We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Website
The recovtrak.com website does not require an account and does not collect personal information unless you contact us directly.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), you have rights over any personal data we hold about you, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. You can delete data stored in the app at any time from within the app, or by removing the app from your device.
Children
Restore Recovery is intended for adults recovering from breast reconstruction surgery and is not directed at children.
Medical disclaimer
Restore Recovery provides general recovery guidance and self-tracking tools. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow the advice of your surgical and care teams, and contact them or NHS 111 if you have concerns about your recovery.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page, with the date of the most recent update shown above.
